Hate Eternal is an American death metal band formed in 1997 in St. Petersburg, Florida. The founding members included guitarist and vocalist Erik Rutan, bassist Jared Anderson, drummer Tim Yeung, and guitarist Doug Cerrito. Their debut album, "Conquering the Throne," was released in 1999. Subsequent albums include "King of All Kings" (2002), "I, Monarch" (2005), and "Fury & Flames" (2008). The band is known for its intense and technically demanding death metal style. Erik Rutan, formerly of Morbid Angel, serves as the band's primary songwriter and producer.
