Heartland is an American country music band from Huntsville, Alabama. Originally, the group consisted of Jason Albert (lead vocals), Craig Anderson (rhythm guitar), Todd Anderson (drums), Chuck Crawford (fiddle, background vocals), Mike Myerson (lead guitar), and Keith West (bass guitar, background vocals). In 2006, they signed with Lofton Creek Records, and their debut single, "I Loved Her First," reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Their debut album of the same name was released in October 2006. After several lineup changes and a hiatus, the band reunited in 2023 with new lead vocalist Lance Horton and announced a new album slated for release later that year.
