Heartworms is the stage name of English musician Jojo Orme, born in London and raised in Cheltenham. In 2023, she released her debut EP "A Comforting Notion" under the Speedy Wunderground label, produced by Dan Carey. This was followed by her debut album "Glutton for Punishment" in 2025, which received positive reviews. Her music is characterized as post-punk and gothic rock, drawing inspiration from artists like The Cure and Siouxsie and the Banshees. Heartworms has performed alongside bands such as The Kills and St. Vincent.
