Heatmiser was an American rock band formed in Portland, Oregon, in 1991. The members were Elliott Smith (guitar and vocals), Neil Gust (guitar and vocals), Tony Lash (drums), and Brandt Peterson (bass guitar). The band released three studio albums: "Dead Air" (1993), "Cop and Speeder" (1994), and "Mic City Sons" (1996). Their music combined elements of indie rock, alternative rock, and post-hardcore. After the band's dissolution in 1996, Elliott Smith pursued a successful solo career. The products available from the artist Heatmiser include vinyls.
