Heavy Pettin is a Scottish hard rock and heavy metal band formed in Glasgow in 1981. Their debut album, "Lettin' Loose," was released in 1983 and produced by Brian May of Queen. This was followed by "Rock Ain't Dead" in 1985 and "Big Bang" in 1989. After a lengthy hiatus, the band returned with "Rock Generation" in 2025. Their music is known for blending melodic hard rock and heavy metal, drawing inspiration from bands like Def Leppard, Whitesnake, and Thin Lizzy.
