(hed) p.e. is an American nu metal band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1994. Their music blends elements of punk rock, hip-hop, heavy metal, and reggae, which they term "G-punk". Notable albums include "Broke" (2000), "Blackout" (2003), and "Insomnia" (2007). The band has collaborated with artists such as Kottonmouth Kings, Tech N9ne, and Big B. Their single "Suffa" from the "Insomnia" album became one of the most requested tracks on Sirius Satellite Radio's Hard Attack, and its music video was voted among the Top 10 on MTV's Headbangers Ball in 2007.
