Henry Cow was an English experimental rock group founded in 1968 at the University of Cambridge by Fred Frith and Tim Hodgkinson. Their music blended elements of jazz, rock, and the avant-garde, known for its complexity and innovation. Notable albums include "Legend" (1973), "Unrest" (1974), and "Western Culture" (1979). The band collaborated with the German-English trio Slapp Happy on "Desperate Straights" and "In Praise of Learning" in 1975.
