Herbert Léonard was a French singer born in Strasbourg in 1945. He began his career as a guitarist in the band Les Lionceaux in the mid-1960s. After two years of military service, he embarked on a solo career. In 1968, he achieved success with the French version of Gene Pitney's "Something's Got a Hold of My Heart." In the 1980s, he returned to the scene with the album "Pour le plaisir" and continued recording and performing until his death in 2025.
