Herbert & Momoko is a collaboration between British electronic musician Matthew Herbert and drummer-vocalist Momoko Gill. Their debut album, "Clay," was released in June 2025 under Strut Records. The album combines Herbert's production skills with Gill's melodic writing, utilizing various sound sources such as Japanese kotos and basketballs to create an organic sound. The album features singles "Babystar," "Need To Run," and "Someone Like You." Herbert is known for his innovative sampling techniques, while Gill has collaborated with artists like Coby Sey, Tirzah, and Alabaster DePlume.
