Hex is a Slovak pop-rock band formed in 1989 in Bratislava. The original lineup included Peter "Ďuďo" Dudák (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Tomáš "Yxo" Dohňanský (bass guitar, vocals), Jozef "Jožko" Jurička (keyboards), Peter Slameň (drums), and Martin "Fefe" Žúži (guitar). The band gained recognition after releasing the maxi-single "Dobrý motýľ" under producer Martin Sarvaš. Notable albums include "Ježiš Kristus nosí krátke nohavice" (1992), "Ultrapop" (1997), and "Supermarket" (1999). Hex received the ZAI award for the album "Ultrapop" in 1997.
