Hodges, James & Smith was an American female vocal group formed in 1970 by former Motown producer Mickey Stevenson. The trio consisted of Patricia Hodge, Denita James, and Jessica Smith. In 1971, Carolyn Crawford joined, temporarily renaming the group to Hodges, James, Smith & Crawford. After Crawford's departure in 1972, they reverted to their original name. The group released four albums, with their most notable hit being a disco version of "Since I Fell for You" in 1977, which reached number 15 on the Billboard Disco Charts.
