Holy Scum is a British experimental noise rock band formed in 2019 in Manchester. The group consists of guitarist Peter J Taylor (formerly of Action Beat), bassist Chris Haslam (co-founder of GNOD), drummer Jon Perry (also of GNOD and Shuck), and vocalist Mike Mare (one half of the hip-hop duo Dälek). Their debut album, "Strange Desires," was released in 2022 and produced by Mare, who also contributed vocals and synthesizers. In 2025, they released their second album, "All We Have Is Never," recorded at Scotland's Black Bay Studios.
