Hookworms were an English five-piece neo-psychedelic rock band from Leeds/Halifax, formed in 2010. Between 2010 and 2018, they released three studio albums and were known for their live performances. Their 2013 debut album, "Pearl Mystic," received positive reviews and was named album of the year by several critics. The follow-up album, "The Hum," released in 2014, also garnered positive reception. Their third and final album, "Microshift," was released in 2018. The band disbanded in 2018 following allegations against vocalist Matthew Johnson, which were officially retracted in 2021. The products available from the artist Hookworms include CDs, vinyls.
