Horacee Arnold is an American jazz drummer who began his career in 1957 while serving in the Coast Guard in Los Angeles. In 1959, he joined David Baker's big band and later collaborated with Roland Kirk and Charles Mingus. During the 1960s, he played with Bud Powell and was part of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Company. In the 1970s, Arnold became prominent in the jazz fusion scene, releasing albums "Tribe" (1973) and "Tales of the Exonerated Flea" (1974). He collaborated with artists such as Jan Hammer, Ralph Towner, and Billy Harper. Later, he taught at William Paterson College and continued his musical career.
