Hot Tuna is an American blues rock band formed in 1969 by former Jefferson Airplane members Jorma Kaukonen (guitar, vocals) and Jack Casady (bass guitar). The band is known for transitioning between acoustic and electric styles, with their debut album "Hot Tuna" (1970) recorded live at the New Orleans House in Berkeley, California. Notable albums include "Burgers" (1972) and "America's Choice" (1975). Throughout their career, they have collaborated with artists such as Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead and Maria Muldaur.
