Hound Dog Taylor & The HouseRockers was an American blues band known for their raw and energetic style. Their 1971 debut album, "Hound Dog Taylor & the HouseRockers," was the first release for Alligator Records, leading to further success. This was followed by "Natural Boogie" (1974) and "Beware of the Dog!" (1976). The band frequently performed with artists like Muddy Waters, Freddie King, and Big Mama Thornton. In 1984, Hound Dog Taylor was posthumously inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame.
