Howard Arman is an English choral conductor and opera director born in London in 1954. He studied at the Trinity College of Music and has been active in Austria and Germany since 1981. He has led several significant choirs, including the Salzburger Bach-Chor and the MDR Rundfunkchor. In 1996, he received the Handel Prize for his work with the Händel-Festspielorchester. Since 2017, he has been the director of the Bavarian Radio Choir. His discography includes albums such as "Christmas Surprises" and "More Christmas Surprises".
