Howard Shelley is a British pianist and conductor known for his interpretations of classical music. He has recorded the complete piano works and concertos of Sergei Rachmaninoff, as well as concertos by Mozart, Hummel, Mendelssohn, Moscheles, Dohnányi, and Cramer. He has collaborated with orchestras such as the London Mozart Players and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. In 2009, he was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE).
