Hydra is an American rock band formed in Atlanta, Georgia, in 1970. The group is known for their hard rock and southern rock style. Their debut album, "Hydra," was released in 1974, followed by "Land of Money" (1975) and "Rock the World" (1977). Notable tracks include "Glitter Queen" and "Feel the Pain." Hydra toured with several prominent artists, including Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top. Although they never achieved the commercial success of some other southern rock bands, they garnered a loyal fan base and are considered a significant part of the 1970s southern rock scene.
