Ian Dury & The Blockheads were an English rock band formed in London in 1977. Originally fronted by lead singer Ian Dury, the band is known for hits like "Hit Me with Your Rhythm Stick" and "Reasons to Be Cheerful, Part 3". Their musical style encompassed new wave, post-punk, and funk. After Dury's death in 2000, the band continued performing with various members. Notable albums include "New Boots and Panties!!" (1977) and "Do It Yourself" (1979).
