Ibibio Sound Machine is an English electronic afro-funk band from London, formed in 2013. The current lineup includes vocalist Eno Williams, guitarist Alfred Kari Bannerman, percussionist Afla Sackey, drummer Joseph Amoako, bassist Philip PK Ambrose, trombonist/keyboardist Tony Hayden, trumpeter/keyboardist Scott Baylis, and saxophonist/keyboardist Max Grunhard. The band has released five studio albums: "Ibibio Sound Machine" (2014), "Uyai" (2017), "Doko Mien" (2019), "Electricity" (2022), and "Pull the Rope" (2024). Their music blends elements of afrobeat, disco, and electronic genres. The 2022 album "Electricity" was produced by Hot Chip and received positive reviews.
