Imagination was an English soul and funk band formed in London in 1981. The group consisted of Leee John, Ashley Ingram, and Errol Kennedy. Their 1981 debut album, "Body Talk," featured the hit "Just an Illusion," which reached number two on the UK Singles Chart. Subsequent albums "In the Heat of the Night" (1982) and "Scandalous" (1983) solidified their popularity. The band was known for their post-disco sound and distinctive visual style. After Ingram and Kennedy departed in 1987, Leee John continued with new members until the group's dissolution in 1992.
