In the Woods... is a Norwegian avant-garde metal band from Kristiansand, formed in 1992. Their debut album, "Heart of the Ages" (1995), is considered a classic in the black metal genre. This was followed by "Omnio" (1997) and "Strange in Stereo" (1999), showcasing their progressive approach to metal. After a hiatus from 2000 to 2014, they returned with "Pure" in 2016. In 2025, they released their seventh studio album, "Otra," inspired by the Otra river flowing through their hometown.
