Institute was an American rock band formed in 2004 by Gavin Rossdale, former frontman of Bush. The band released their sole album, "Distort Yourself," in 2005, featuring the single "Bullet-Proof Skin." Their music blended elements of alternative rock, post-grunge, and hard rock. After the album's release and subsequent tour, the band disbanded in 2006, with Rossdale returning to his previous band, Bush. The products available from the artist Institute include CDs.
