Isabelle Duthoit is a French clarinetist and vocalist known for her work in jazz, avant-garde, and free improvisation. She studied at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse in Lyon, earning her diploma in 1995. In 1994, she co-founded the Fruits de Mhère festival for improvisational music. Duthoit has collaborated with artists such as Franz Hautzinger, Jacques Demierre, and Michel Doneda. Her discography includes albums like "Lily" (2017) and "The Monophonic Havel" (2018). In 2008, she studied Nō rituals in Japan during a residency at Villa Kujoyama.
