Iyeoka Ivie Okoawo is an American singer, poet, and activist of Nigerian descent. She began her musical career with the group The Rock by Funk Tribe and released her first solo album, "Black & Blues," in 2004. Her music blends elements of neo soul, R&B, funk, and hip hop. The 2010 album "Say Yes" features the track "The Yellow Brick Road Song," which was used as the theme song for the TV series "Fairly Legal." Iyeoka is also known for her performances at TEDGlobal and on HBO's "Def Poetry Jam."
