Jacob Chung is a Canadian jazz saxophonist and composer born in 2000. In 2022, he moved from Toronto to New York City to study at the Manhattan School of Music under Vincent Herring. His sophomore album, "The Sage," was released in 2024 under the Cellar Music Group label and features collaborations with Herring and drummer Joe Farnsworth. His 2022 debut album, "Epistle," received positive reviews for its swing style. Jacob regularly performs in New York City clubs and has collaborated with artists such as Ken Peplowski, Peter Washington, and the Mingus Big Band.
