Jan Bang is a Norwegian musician and producer known for his work in electronic music and jazz. He has collaborated with artists such as Nils Petter Molvær, Eivind Aarset, and Arve Henriksen. In 2005, he co-founded the Punkt festival with Erik Honoré. His notable albums include "Frozen Feelings" (1989), "Pop Killer" (1998), and "...And Poppies from Kandahar" (2010). Bang is recognized for his innovative live sampling and looping techniques, which have influenced many contemporary musicians and producers.
