Jarboe Devereaux, known mononymously as Jarboe, is an American singer and musician who gained prominence as a member of the New York City experimental rock band Swans in 1985. During her tenure with Swans, she was one of the two constant members until the band's dissolution in 1997. In 1987, she released the album "Blood, Women, Roses" under the name Skin, which was later reissued under her own name. Jarboe is recognized for her contributions to experimental rock and electronic music, collaborating with artists such as Neurosis and Jesu.
