His 2024 album "Influences" features eight original compositions and Gigi Gryce's "Minority". Hall draws inspiration from trumpeters like Woody Shaw, Tom Harrell, and Wallace Roney. On "Influences", he collaborated with pianist Tal Cohen, bassist Michael Glynn, and drummer John Bishop. The album was released by Origin Records.
