Jasper Somsen is a Dutch double bassist, composer, and producer born in 1973. He graduated in both jazz and classical music and has collaborated with international jazz artists such as Peter Erskine, Enrico Pieranunzi, and Joey Calderazzo. His notable albums include "Dreams, Thoughts & Poetry" (2010), "Sardegna" (2013), and "A New Episode In Life, part I & II" (2017). His music focuses on jazz and its subgenres.
