Jazz at the Philharmonic (JATP) was a series of jazz concerts, tours, and recordings produced by Norman Granz from 1944 to 1983. These events featured many prominent jazz musicians of the era, including Dizzy Gillespie, Roy Eldridge, Coleman Hawkins, Stan Getz, and Don Byas. The performance in Stockholm on November 21, 1960, released as "Complete Live in Stockholm November 21, 1960," is one of JATP's notable recordings. This concert was originally issued on four separate LPs titled "Jazz at the Philharmonic in Europe" and includes performances by artists such as Cannonball Adderley, Benny Carter, and J.J. Johnson. JATP played a pivotal role in popularizing jazz internationally and provided a platform for numerous jazz artists to showcase their talents.
