Jean-Marc Luisada is a French pianist born in 1958 in Bizerte, Tunisia. He studied at the Conservatoire de Paris under Dominique Merlet and Geneviève Joy-Dutilleux. In 1985, he achieved fifth place at the XI International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. Luisada is renowned for his interpretations of works by Chopin, Schumann, and Schubert. Notable recordings include "Chopin: 14 Waltzes & 7 Mazurkas" (2014) and "Schumann: Davidsbundlertanze & Humoreske" (2018). In addition to his solo career, he engages in chamber music, collaborating with artists such as the Talich Quartet.
