The Jeff Beck Group was a British rock band formed in 1967 by guitarist Jeff Beck after his departure from The Yardbirds. The original lineup included vocalist Rod Stewart, bassist Ron Wood, keyboardist Nicky Hopkins, and drummer Micky Waller. Their debut album "Truth" (1968) and its follow-up "Beck-Ola" (1969) are considered influential recordings in the hard rock and blues rock genres. The band disbanded in 1969 but was reformed by Beck in 1971 with new members, including vocalist Bobby Tench. This lineup released the albums "Rough and Ready" (1971) and "Jeff Beck Group" (1972). The group disbanded permanently in 1972. The products available from the artist Jeff Beck Group include CDs.
