Jeff Gauthier is an American jazz violinist and producer known for his collaborations with artists like Nels Cline, Alex Cline, and Mark Dresser. As the founder and primary producer of Cryptogramophone Records, he has released six albums with his ensemble, the Jeff Gauthier Goatette. His latest project, The Smudges, is a collaboration with cellist Maggie Parkins, blending improvisation and electronics.
