Jennifer Warnes is an American singer and songwriter known for her contributions to film soundtracks and collaborations with Leonard Cohen. Her 1987 album "Famous Blue Raincoat" features interpretations of Cohen's songs. In 1992, she released "The Hunter," which includes covers of tracks by Todd Rundgren and The Waterboys. Warnes has won two Grammy Awards for the duets "Up Where We Belong" with Joe Cocker and "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" with Bill Medley.
