Jeri Brown is an American jazz singer born in 1952 in Missouri. After studying classical singing in Iowa, she performed in Europe and later settled in Cleveland, collaborating with artists such as Ellis Marsalis and Dizzy Gillespie. In 1991, she signed with the Canadian label Justin Time and released albums like "Mirage" and "Unfolding the Peacocks". Brown has also served as an educator at various universities in the U.S. and Canada, including Concordia University in Montreal. She is a recipient of the Martin Luther King Jr. Achievement Award.
