Jerry Cole was an American guitarist and studio musician prominent in the 1960s. Born in 1939 in Wisconsin and raised in Chicago, he was influenced by blues and jazz. He later moved to the West Coast, becoming a member of The Champs and subsequently part of the renowned Wrecking Crew studio group. Throughout his career, he recorded under various pseudonyms for Crown Records, producing albums spanning genres from surf rock to psychedelia. Notable albums include "Surf Age," "Hot Rod Dance Party," and "Outer Limits." He collaborated with artists such as Frank Sinatra, The Beach Boys, and The Byrds.
