Jerry Fielding was an American composer, arranger, and conductor, renowned for his work on film and television soundtracks. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he began his career as an arranger for radio orchestras. Throughout his career, he received three Academy Award nominations for Best Original Score for the films "The Wild Bunch" (1969), "Straw Dogs" (1971), and "The Outlaw Josey Wales" (1976).
