Jim Capaldi was an English singer, songwriter, and drummer, best known as a co-founder of the progressive rock band Traffic in 1967. Alongside Steve Winwood, he co-wrote the majority of the band's material. During his solo career, he released several albums, including "Oh How We Danced" (1972) and "Short Cut Draw Blood" (1975). His cover of "Love Hurts" reached number 4 on the UK charts. Capaldi collaborated with artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, and George Harrison.
