Jimmy Lloyd, born James Lloyd Logsdon in Panther, Kentucky, was an American singer, songwriter, and radio DJ. In the 1950s, he recorded rockabilly songs such as "I Got a Rocket in My Pocket" and "Rio de Rosa" under the pseudonym Jimmy Lloyd. These tracks were released by Roulette Records. Additionally, he recorded country music under the name Jimmie Logsdon. Throughout his career, he collaborated with various notable artists, and his music influenced many subsequent performers. He passed away in Louisville, Kentucky, in 2001.
