Jochen Baldes is a Swiss jazz saxophonist and composer, a graduate of the Swiss Jazz School in Bern. In 1997, he founded the band Subnoder, one of the longest-standing jazz formations in Switzerland. The 2013 album "Here" features tracks like "Following Circles" and "Roses In His Hands". Baldes is known for his melancholic and poetic tone, characterized by warmth and depth. In addition to music, he is also involved in painting and serves on the board of the "Moods" jazz club in Zurich.
