Johannes Berauer is an Austrian composer and conductor known for blending classical avant-garde, jazz, and world music. He studied at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz, later attending Berklee College of Music and the New England Conservatory in Boston. His project "The Vienna Chamber Diaries" synthesizes classical chamber music and jazz, featuring artists like Gwilym Simcock, Wolfgang Muthspiel, and Klaus Gesing. Berauer also worked as an arranger for Anouar Brahem on the album "Souvenance" and conducted the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and London Philharmonic Orchestra in the "King of Ghosts" project.
