Johannes Leertouwer is a Dutch violinist and conductor known for his interpretations of classical music. He studied at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and the Royal College of Music in London. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has collaborated with various ensembles, including the Schönbrunn Ensemble, of which he has been a member since 1987. His notable recordings include "Brahms: The Complete Sonatas for Piano and Violin" and "Mozart: The Complete Works for Violin and Orchestra". Leertouwer is also a professor of violin at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and regularly conducts masterclasses in various countries.
