John Fogerty is an American musician who served as the lead singer, lead guitarist, and principal songwriter for Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR). The band achieved nine top-10 singles and eight gold albums between 1968 and 1972. After CCR disbanded in 1972, Fogerty pursued a successful solo career, with his 1985 album "Centerfield" reaching number one on the Billboard 200 chart. His notable songs include "Proud Mary," "Bad Moon Rising," "Fortunate Son," and "The Old Man Down the Road."
