Jordan Rudess is an American keyboardist and composer, known as a member of the progressive metal band Dream Theater and the supergroup Liquid Tension Experiment. Born in 1956 in Great Neck, New York, he studied classical piano at the Juilliard School of Music before shifting his focus to progressive rock and electronic music. His solo albums include "Feeding the Wheel" (2001), "Rhythm of Time" (2004), and "The Road Home" (2007). In 2024, he released "Permission to Fly". Rudess is recognized for his innovations in music technology and has collaborated with artists such as John Petrucci and Mike Portnoy.
