Jordsjø and Breidablik are two Norwegian progressive music groups that celebrated their 10th anniversary in 2025 with the joint album "Kontraster". This album features two 20-minute tracks, each showcasing a unique approach to progressive music. Jordsjø, known for its symphonic sound and influences from Scandinavian folklore, contributed a piece rich in melodies and atmospheric passages. Breidablik, inspired by the Berlin School of electronic music, added a track with hypnotic synthesizer sequences and ambient textures. The collaboration on "Kontraster" demonstrates the diversity and creativity of the Norwegian progressive scene.
