Jørgen Ingmann was a Danish jazz and pop guitarist, renowned for his 1961 rendition of "Apache," which reached number 2 on the U.S. Billboard chart. In 1963, he and his wife, Grethe Ingmann, won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Dansevise." Throughout his career, he released several albums, including "With Love From....." and "Folksongs Favourites." His musical style, influenced by Les Paul, encompassed jazz, pop, and instrumental music. Ingmann was also a member of Svend Asmussen And His Unmelancholy Danes.
