JR Ewing was a Norwegian hardcore punk and screamo band formed in 1998 in Oslo. The band released three studio albums: "Calling in Dead" (2000), "Ride Paranoia" (2003), and "Maelstrom" (2005). Throughout their career, they were known for their aggressive and sophisticated sound, influencing many musicians, including Laurent Barnard of the band Gallows.
