Juanita Euka is a Congolese vocalist who grew up in Buenos Aires and later moved to London. She is the niece of Congolese rumba legend Franco Luambo Makiadi. Throughout her career, she has fronted bands such as London Afrobeat Collective, Animanz, and Wara. In 2022, she released her debut solo album "Mabanzo," which blends influences from Afrobeat, Afro-Cuban music, and jazz. The album was recorded during the lockdown in home studios under the direction of producer Greg Sanders. Euka is known for her unique musical style that reflects her rich cultural heritage.
